A day in the life of a Murphy SAP / Control Engineer * Responsible for the delivery of all 132KV EHV/HV network operations and control activities. * Knowledge on Switching on DNO/iDNO and private network 132KV EHV and HV networks. * Issuing and receiving of safety documents on the iDNO networks as applicable. * Supporting the delivery of power outage works, across the plant, and the associated project and contract management skills * Electrical 132KV EHV/HV/LV Engineering experience across a wide range of systems. * Undertaking of engineering studies, O&Ms, technical specifications…etc * Producing technical reports in related to the electricity distribution network. * Project management of large-scale Data Centres, and Battery Storage sites * Experience being as the primary point of contact for on-site engineers who will carry out works on our iDNO network. * Developing scoping documentation and Main Connections or Protection Diagrams (MC&P) * Help on specifying and managing related equipment and plant such as relays, CTs and VTs. * Review, assess detailed designs including SLDs, AC/DC schematics, and protection system. * Previous experience working in design or commissioning of power system protection, ideally at a distribution level 132KV EHV, HV, and LV on DNO/iDNO networks. * Support on standby and out of hours coverage of electricity faults and emergencies.
