This role is a 12 month fixed term maternity cover. The ideal applicant will have responsibility for the delivery of key financial processes and administrative activities to support the project. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be dealing with a variety of people at all levels, strong communication and organisation is key to this role. What you will be doing: Take accountability for executing key finance and project processes (raising requisitions, GRN orders, reporting status) associated with ordering materials, resources and plant Work alongside Site managers with key weekly paid and agency labour processes (e.g. timesheet collection, coding, collecting overtime requests) Use the chosen accounting system for processing project transactions and running reports Run weekly management order reports, review and attend meetings with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor where required Highlight and escalate to the Project Manager on interventions required on Site where there is lack of process compliance by site personnel that would risk financial accuracy of the project numbers Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement and of sharing best practice amongst the team What we are looking for: Relevant experience in a transaction process role (AP, purchase ledger, procurement, finance) and/or broad business administration position Experience working in the construction industry or similar may be beneficial Good at building relationships High levels of emotional intelligence Working knowledge of MS Office, and a general competence with systems Located at WA3 3JD
