The Fleet Administrator works alongside and supports the fleet team. Performing administrative support duties for fleet maintenance and communicating with the wider business, this is a fast-paced, busy role, where no two days are the same.
A day in the life of a Murphy Fleet Administrator:
- Driver inductions
- Issuing documentation to complete licence checks with DVLA
- Issuing the driver induction link and communicating with drivers on what is required
- Ensuring paperwork is complete by the driver and uploaded to their driver profile
- Removing any leavers from the database
- Monitoring renewals which are due every 3 years
- Administration of driver fines and speeding tickets
- Use of Syrinx to identify the driver at the offence time
- Process for payment when required
- Log on our PCN register
- Send the fine out to the driver to notify them
- Send to wages after the appeal window to deduct from wages
- Appeal with the issuing authority when necessary
- Use data to identify repeat offenders and high-risk drivers and support with training where necessary
- Administration of toll charges and adding and removing new/sold vehicles to the toll road autopay database
- Keeping the autopay database funds topped up
- Monthly reconciliation of account and administration of internal recharges
- Administration of company vehicle tax (monthly) and checking the status of the vehicle (owned/sold)
- Raising payment cards and administration of external invoices
- Requesting purchase orders and receipting of goods and raising any queries with suppliers
- New Vehicle maintenance
- Receive new V5’s through the post
- Input onto our hire system and shared folder and set reminders for tax and MOT’s onto our hire system

- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and either working knowledge or happy to learn on the job, Syrinx, D365 and Davis (licence check)
