The role of Specialist Materials Manager is to ensure a consistent and effective approach to materials quality control and expediting activities, such that vendor compliance, inspection, testing, certification and material release requirements are achieved in accordance with project and company requirements.
The Specialist Materials Manager shall report to the QC. Materials travel will be required in line with project needs.
Ensure that all required quality checks, inspections and verifications are in place to support procurement activities managed by others, in accordance with approved Material Procedures, applicable Codes and Standards, Statutory Regulations, Environmental Legislation and Company Procedures.
The Specialist Materials Manager will have proven experience in materials quality control and expediting within the oil and gas sector.
