You will join as the company’s first permanent in-house legal hire and undertake a richly diverse and varied role, working on a wide range of commercial contracts, internal policies and procedures, privacy work, HR matters, and related areas.
Responsibilities:
- Operate as the first permanent in-house legal hire, developing and scaling the in-house legal function from the outset with a high degree of autonomy.
- Work closely with the CEO to support business needs across commercial law, privacy, HR, policy development, and related areas.
- Engage on a wide range of commercial contracts and internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Lawyer with a range of prior relevant legal experience. In-house experience is not mandatory.
Remuneration and work arrangement:
- Remuneration is highly competitive.
- This is a part-time position of approximately 3 days per week (with some potential flexibility).
- Role can be undertaken mostly remotely/from home if preferred; company HQ is on the Essex/London borders.
