Premium Law firm seeking an ambitious Legal Secretary for their Dispute Resolution dept!
Salary: £40,000
Location: West-End
Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 from home
Benefits: Excellent including 27 days AL, medical and dental insurance, travel insurance, pension, running club, yoga, various sports teams, choir, season ticket loan and many more!
This excellent firm, known for investing in their employees, are garnering a great reputation for themselves within Disputes and need a talented Legal Secretary to support their growing team of fee earners.
A Litigation or Disputes background would be hugely beneficial. However, if your legal knowledge lies elsewhere, the firm take a refreshing approach and recognise that your skills are transferable so don\’t let that put you off!
Prior experience within a Private Practice Law firm is an absolute must, along with strong technical skills and a can-do attitude.
For an idea of some the duties involved, please see the list below:
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Senior Associates, Associates, Trainees
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Proactively and accurately monitor/oversee calendars, set up all meetings and related logistics and ensure all arrangements are made
- Arrange travel requirements, understand individual\’s personal preferences and manage all arrangements from start to finish
- Proactively and accurately monitor/oversee inboxes on team\’s behalf, drafting emails appropriately, forwarding any client critical emails to other fee earners and secretaries in the team to action
- Prepare, edit and proofread all work
- Manage/co-ordinate billing and compliance processes on behalf of team
- Respond to tasks promptly and manage deadlines, to ensure expectations are managed
- Arrange regular catch ups with each fee earner
- Liaise with the Marketing & Business Development team and key contacts, proactively coordinating BD activities, playing a key role in the organisation of events, seminars & conferences for the team
- Use initiative and actively identify and resolve issues when they arise
