Working in the Commercial Disputes/Litigation department, this Junior Legal Secretary role represents an excellent opportunity to be a part of a bustling team. The role will undertake all aspects of a support position giving you more responsibility or where necessary, managing the work-flow by utilising the team around you.
Duties will include:
- To assist the department as appropriate, dealing with travel and accommodation arrangements including itineraries, management of fee earners' diaries and arrangement of client meetings, seminars and other relevant functions
- Monitor post/emails and dealing with as appropriate
- Taking and making client related calls, dealing with client queries
- Manage the production of documents
- Administrative tasks such as opening new files/matters, closing files, compliance and archiving
- Filing of expenses, issuing proceedings, post, photocopying, faxing and other administration duties
- Support the financial management of the department, primarily billing, disbursements and debt collection along with managing expenses
- Liaise with BD and Marketing, manage Interaction
- Prepare pitches and presentations and assisting in tender process
- Provide support to other members of the team
