We’ve opened a role in our Ottawa office for a talented, entrepreneurial Water Resources Professional to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s Land Development group.
Are you passionate about supporting urban development projects by contributing to unique and sustainable solutions in water supply management? Are you interested in developing long‑term water distribution strategies for growing communities? Does working with an experienced, collaborative team to create innovative solutions for clients using state‑of‑the‑art modelling platforms excite you? Are you a resourceful, clever, and enthusiastic Water Resources Professional (engineer, project manager, or technologist) with at least five years of experience? - Working with an established, collaborative team of engineers, technologists, and support staff to develop innovative water supply servicing solutions to support urban land development projects.
- Using state‑of‑the‑art software to advance innovative, integrated solutions to complex servicing problems from master planning to detailed design.
- Building and analyzing water distribution system models in WaterCAD and InfoWater to support master planning for growing communities and for the planning of water distribution systems.
- Delivering thoughtful design solutions, developing new business, and working with clients to ensure their expectations are met.

Salary range - Technologist: $68,000- $90,000 / Engineer: $87,000- $120,000
