As a Transportation Engineer, your role will include:Working with an established, multi-disciplinary, integrated technical team of engineers, technologists, and support staff to build innovative transportation solutions for our clients.Assisting with the production of transportation planning studies in support of rezoning, site plan control, and subdivision approvals for private-sector development throughout Ontario in accordance with municipal Transportation Impact Assessment (TIA) Guidelines.Undertaking technical analysis to optimize traffic flow on road corridors.Assisting in the preparation of proposals and technical reports including transportation impact assessments, parking studies, feasibility studies, and master planning studies.Performing research and data collection, followed by in-depth analysis using advanced Excel spreadsheet tools.Utilizing VBA to streamline data analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance modeling tools.Working with Synchro, SIDRA and various other transportation modelling software packages.Undertaking Multi-Modal Level of Service Analyses.Reviewing design drawings for urban road corridors, intersections, Site Plans and Plans of Subdivision, from a transportation perspective and the application of design standards (e.g., TAC and OTM) and municipal by-laws/standards.Why Join Us?
