We’ve opened a role in our Sudbury or Timmins office for a talented, entrepreneurial Structural Engineering Technology Co-op Student to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s Structural group.

Your Role as a Structural Engineering Technology Co-op Student:

  • Working with senior engineers and designers in the design of a wide variety of buildings, industrial facilities, water treatment facilities and other structural systems.
  • Working and collaborating with an established, multidisciplinary, integrated technical team of architects, planners, engineers, and technologists to ensure that project deadlines are met, and final deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Assisting in drawing production utilizing industry leading software (AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Assisting in developing designs to modify existing structures and designing additions and/or repairs.
  • Accompanying staff during visits to construction sites and reporting on observations.
  • Assisting with carrying out studies, preparing reports, developing design documents, and providing services during construction.
