We’ve opened a role in our Sudbury, Timmins and North Bay offices for a talented, entrepreneurial Project Manager to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s multidisciplinary groups.

Are you a resourceful, clever and enthusiastic Project Manager with 10 or more years of related engineering experience in heavy industrial or mining environments? Do you have a keen attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to complete tasks efficiently within tight timelines? Does the unique world of mining engineering spark your passion? Your Role as Project Manager:

  • Actively participating in all engineering phases of mining & mineral processing projects, including mining plant operations, hoisting plants, ventilation, backfill, dewatering, material handling, civil and building infrastructure, and specialized studies.
  • Developing, monitoring, and communicating project schedules, forecasting, and reporting project budgets and cash‑flow reports.
  • Identifying, monitoring, and documenting project scope requirements and changes, communicating risks, and resolving contractual and project issues.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on outgoing submissions.
  • Preparing proposals and budget estimates.
