Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 9:30 pm
Required License: Valid Class A FL license or willingness to obtain one (we will provide training and pay for licensing)
Mechanic Pay: $25 - $32 per hour base, depending on experience, plus up to $3 per hour incentive

We are seeking a fleet mechanic responsible for maintenance, repairs, and inspections on trucks, trailers, forklifts, cars, and other equipment. Maintains cleanliness of the garage area.
Essential Duties:
- Assist drivers with minor mechanical issues before delivery.
- Perform road repairs as needed.
- Conduct weekly fleet checks, including mileage, fluids, belts, tires, leaks, and inspections.
- Drive repaired vehicles to verify repairs meet specifications.
- Repair forklifts, chargers, batteries, and other equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Inspect tires, ensure DOT compliance, and address vehicle appearance issues.
- Maintain vehicle registration and insurance documentation.
- Inspect refrigeration units and perform electrical or diesel repairs as needed.
- Manage Vehicle Condition Reports and file paperwork accordingly.
- Log maintenance activities in shop software and process invoices promptly.
- Drive tractor trailers between company facilities as required.
- Assist with facility maintenance and yard inspections.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to maneuver in tight, low areas during repairs.
- Proficient with hand and air tools.
- Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
