We are seeking an L&D Business Partner to join the wider People and Culture Team supporting the development of individuals both personally and professionally with a focus on increasing the leadership and management capability at Dowds. The L&D Business Partner will work with leaders to assess team needs, recommend learning solutions, and promote a high-performance, people-focused culture.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead on the individual and collective development of the Emerging talent and Internal development programmes, ensuring that key learning milestones are achieved.
- Offer advice and support on apprenticeships for business areas to ensure that apprenticeship levy utilisation is optimised alongside meeting business needs through high quality learning provision.
- Provide Coaching and support for those on DOWD’s talent programmes.
- Plan a yearly learning curriculum based on the needs of the business and employees.
- Proactively manage relationships with external suppliers to optimise performance and ensure best value.
What we are looking for:
- Experience within L&D and exposure with the above list of responsibilities.
- Excellent communicator and facilitator.
- CIPD Qualified.
- Implemented and delivered training programmes.
- Experience working across different departments on collective and individual projects.
- Construction, manufacturing or engineering industry knowledge.
- Qualified coach.
