This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced professional to lead our Commercial team. The role will focus on building and maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key accounts, and will be responsible for identifying opportunities to add value, drive revenue growth, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention within those accounts.
The role
- manage and develop a portfolio of key customers to deliver revenue and scope growth across all services, with a focus on multi-term retention and improving contract profitability
- drive and generate new commercial opportunities, devising an effective strategy to identify and close opportunities with new business customers and target clients and to generate revenue
- manage, develop and lead the Commercial team, driving forward continuous improvement in order to ensure the most efficient and effective customer service possible.
- develop and implement strategic plans in order to solidify long-term business relationships and partnerships with clients.
What You Need
- previous experience working within recycling, waste or a comparable industry is a must
- proven experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced, busy environment
- familiarity with CRM software and account management systems to track customer interactions and manage data
- ability to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions
- skilled communicator with the ability to build excellent working relationships, both internally and externally
- ability to generate and recognise new ideas and opportunities to develop the business
- experience of line management / performance development of a team

The package
- From ÂŁ45k per annum DOE plus Car Allowance
- 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working – office/on the road
