We are looking for experienced and proactive Class 2 drivers to expand our team of dedicated staff!

The role

  • Drive our company vehicles in a safe and professional manner
  • Collect and deliver various sizes of skips and containers across our local areas
  • Complete documented pre‑use checks on the vehicle and report any issues identified
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with customers, members of the public and various site functions
  • Represent the company in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Complete the daily work schedule in line with the customer and company objectives

What You Need

  • Valid Class 2 category driving licence
  • Proven working experience as an HGV driver, with a good driving record and no traffic violations
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and on own initiative in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operation
  • Previous experience working as an HGV driver in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability, punctuality and good levels of attendance are a must

The package

  • From £35k per annum, depending on experience and ability to operate a variety of waste vehicles
  • 48.75 hours per week, Mon to Fri 6.30am‑5.15pm
  • Alternate Saturdays 7am‑12.30pm, paid as extra
  • Full training on our vehicles provided, with incremental increases offered on completion of training
  • 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays, rising with service
