This is a fantastic new opportunity for a confident and experienced Administrator to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, with a passion for exceeding our customer expectations.
The role includes:
- Providing a comprehensive administration service for the Waste, Commodities & Planning and Commercial teams.
- Monitoring stock levels of different waste types as required, in conjunction with the Operations / Yard team.
- Providing prompt and accurate assistance to our customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues and/or account queries.
- Providing cover on the Weighbridge during absences and busy periods as required.
- Applying for skip permits as and when requested and monitoring to ensure renewals are submitted before expiry.
- Carrying out any required administrative duties accurately and efficiently, according to instruction and within the desired timescales.
What you need:
- Previous experience working in an administration role within a fast‑paced, busy environment.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build excellent working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
- Customer‑focused with a good manner, both in-person and on the telephone.
- Well presented with a confident and professional manner.
- Previous experience working in the waste industry would be highly advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this.
The package:
- Hourly rate £13.10 per hour.
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays, rising with service.
