Devine Plant Hire has been serving the construction industry with high-quality service for over 40 years. We are looking for an experienced heavy plant fitter to join our team to maintain our ever-growing plant fleet. The role will be predominantly based around Sussex, Hampshire, Southampton, Surrey & Reading with occasional travel further afield. The plant yard is based in Bordon. Working hours are 5 days a week, from 7.00 to 16.30, with a company van and fuel card.
The successful candidate must:
- Have strong experience in diagnosis of plant failure.
- Be able to use Mig & Arc welding equipment.
- Undertake other service work and repair work to vehicles as and when required.
- Have a Full UK Driving Licence for at least 3 years and have experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle (or similar).
- Have attention to detail.
- Able to work under own initiative but also a team player.
- Be competent and capable to carry out services and maintenance on the following equipment:
- Excavators
- Dumpers
- Rollers
- Telehandler
- Experience of Hitachi, Thwaite, JCB plant is a plus.
