The role
At a glance, your role is to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Duties Include
- Interacting politely with guests - greeting them, saying 'thank you' and 'goodbye'
- Maintaining office administration in line with company policies and general data protection regulations (GDPR)
- Carrying out administrative tasks, reservations, cancellations and no-shows, managing check-ins, check-outs and aftercare, providing reports as necessary (e.g. for housekeeping or management tasks)
- Checking that all bedrooms/conference rooms and all other associated areas under your responsibility are cleaned and maintained within guidelines
- Conducting regular security checks, including fire safety checks, throughout your shift, reporting any issues to your line manager
- Reporting any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents and/or maintenance issues to the manager on duty
- Being responsible for evacuation, in the case of emergency, liaising with guests and the emergency services
- Completing required induction, role-specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement
