The role

At a glance, your role is to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties Include

  • Interacting politely with guests – greeting them, saying ‘thank you’ and ‘goodbye’.
  • Maintaining office administration in line with company policies and GDPR.
  • Carrying out administrative tasks, reservations, cancellations and no-shows, managing check-ins, check-outs and aftercare, providing reports as necessary (e.g. for housekeeping or management tasks).
  • Checking that all bedrooms/conference rooms and all other associated areas under your responsibility are cleaned and maintained within guidelines.
  • Conducting regular security checks, including fire safety checks, throughout your shift, reporting any issues to your line manager.
  • Reporting any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents and/or maintenance issues to the manager on duty.
  • Being responsible for evacuation in the case of emergency, liaising with guests and the emergency services.
  • Completing required induction, role‑specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement.
