- Starting salary of £29,013
- 40‑hour working week

The Role
As a shift manager you will support the pub manager in the day‑to‑day running of the pub.
- Training, leading, supporting and motivating the team
- Managing the pub’s operation during shifts, including compliance with company operating standards and legislation, customer handling, administration and cash management
- Prioritising tasks, delegating and problem‑solving
- Working a variety of shifts across the week (front of house and kitchen)
- Delivering high standards in all areas: cleanliness, product quality, customer service, maintenance and atmosphere
- Ensuring bar, kitchen, cellar, toilets, front and back of house are cleaned and maintained throughout the day, following company guidelines and the CAYG philosophy
- Managing office administration, cash control, stock management and deliveries
