The role
You will support the day-to-day running of the pub with delivery and stock processes, offering excellent customer service by ensuring 100% product availability at all times. You will adhere to all Wetherspoon standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies, maintaining a clean, safe and legal workplace. We open our doors early in the morning and sometimes do not close them until late at night, so offering great flexibility of working hours.
Duties Include
- Receive and store food, drinks and non-consumable deliveries, in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Investigate and report any anomalies, as required.
- Have a good understanding of stock rotation to refill fridges and freezers and maintain them to a high standard.
- Follow guidelines to complete defrost and preparation, as required.
- Ensure that the bar is kept fully stocked with stock, ice, non-consumables and prepped items (e.g. fruit).
- Take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness by adopting our 'clean as you go' philosophy.
- Adhere to cellar management practices, including all opening and closing procedures and processes. Follow line-cleaning processes to maintain top-quality dispense of all draught products.
