Responsibilities
- Run shifts and work unsupervised to achieve daily objectives: excellent customer service, serving food to the correct specification while meeting food-delivery-time targets, and adhering to Wetherspoon SOPs and company policies to maintain a clean, safe and legal workplace.
- Provide leadership to the team, supporting, leading and motivating staff to meet sales, profit and compliance targets.
- Deliver high standards in all areas: cleanliness, product quality, customer service, maintenance and atmosphere; comply with company operating standards and legislation; manage administration and, once trained, cash management.
- Prioritise tasks, delegate, and problem-solve; work on a variety of shifts across the week (including front of house).
- Help achieve all financial targets for the kitchen by building sales and controlling costs; work with the kitchen manager to forecast sales and costs and review the profit and loss account; maximise sales opportunities.
Pay and benefits
- Starting salary of £29,501, increasing after training to £30,225 (there is additional pay-weighting within the M25 and at other selected locations).
- 40-hour working week
