The role
At a glance, your role is to clean all areas of the hotel thoroughly, with the aim of enhancing the guests' experience by having excellent standards of cleanliness at all times.
Duties Include
- Interacting politely with guests - greeting them, saying 'thank you' and 'goodbye'
- Servicing bedrooms and all other areas of the hotel in line with our standard operating procedures
- Completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, as required
- Following correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the manager when more are needed
- Storing all laundry correctly and completing relevant documentation
- Adhering to stock-control procedures and maintaining security of stock at all times
- Reporting any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents and/or maintenance issues to the manager on duty
- Completing required induction, role-specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement
