Responsibilities
You will ensure the delivery of Wetherspoon\’s CQSMA standards (cleanliness, quality, service, maintenance, atmosphere) and the safe running of the hotel overnight, handling reservations and enquiries. You will also complete hourly security checks, be responsible for evacuation in cases of emergency, and maintain the duty manager logbook. Full adherence to licensing law, trading standards, customs & excise regulations, food hygiene, health & fire safety is required.
Qualifications
Professional and well presented, good conversational English, excellent customer service focus, communication with people at all levels, self‑motivated, enthusiastic, confident handling people in emergency or conflict situations. Must be over 18, have a fixed place of residence close to the pub, and proof of right to work in the UK.
