Hotel Night Shift Leader

Location: The Union Rooms, Plymouth

Salary: £14 per hour

Hours per week: 24 hours with flexible starting times typically from 6:00 each day.

Responsibilities: Maintain excellent customer service standards and ensure fire safety compliance. Handle reservations and guest enquiries, conduct hourly security checks, manage emergency evacuation procedures, keep accurate duty manager logbook records, and report all accidents and incidents. Ensure full compliance with licensing law, trading standards, customs & excise regulations, food hygiene, and health & fire safety.

Qualifications: Professional appearance, conversational English, strong customer service focus, effective communication across all levels, self‑motivation, enthusiasm, ability to manage emergencies, ability to work under pressure, fixed residence close to the pub, proof of right to work in the UK, and minimum age 18 (under 18 may apply for other positions).
