Vacancy Description
Responsible for maintaining excellent standards of customer service at all times, with particular attention to all aspects of fire safety. Wetherspoon has built its success on delivering the best CQSMA standards. This means cleanliness, quality, service, maintenance, and atmosphere. You will ensure the delivery of these standards and the safe running of the hotel overnight, handling reservations and dealing with enquiries. You will also complete hourly security checks and be responsible for evacuation in cases of emergency. The completion of the duty manager logbook is essential for maintaining accurate records, as you will be responsible for reporting all accidents and incidents. Full adherence to all aspects of licensing law, trading standards, customs & excise regulations, food hygiene, and health & fire safety will be required. Professional and well presented, you should have good conversational english and an excellent customer service focus. The ability to communicate with people at all levels is essential, and you should also be self-motivated and able to bring a high level of enthusiasm to everything you do. You should respond well to pressure and be confident in handling people in emergency or conflict situations. You will also need to have a fixed place of residence reasonably close to the pub and have proof of right to work in the uk. You must be over 18 to work in our hotels; however, if you are younger, we may still have positions available for you - please search for kitchen or floor staff vacancies.
