Role Overview
You will support the day‑to‑day running of the pub with delivery and stock processes, offering excellent customer service by ensuring 100% product availability at all times.
You will adhere to all Wetherspoons standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies, maintaining a clean, safe and legal workplace.
Open early mornings and close late at night, providing flexibility of working hours.
Duties
- Receive, store and manage food, drinks and non‑consumable deliveries in line with SOPs. Investigate and report any anomalies.
- Maintain stock rotation to refill fridges and freezers and keep them to a high standard.
- Follow guidelines to complete defrosting and preparation, as required.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked with stock, ice, non‑consumables and prepped items (e. g., fruit).
- Take pride in maintaining the highest cleanliness standards by adopting the “clean as you go” philosophy.
- Adhere to cellar management practices, including all opening and closing procedures and processes.
Follow line‑cleaning processes to maintain top‑quality dispense of all draught products.
