Responsible for maintaining excellent standards of customer service at all times, with particular attention to all aspects of fire safety.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of CQSMA standards (cleanliness, quality, service, maintenance, atmosphere) and safe running of the hotel overnight.
- Handle reservations and deal with enquiries.
- Complete hourly security checks and be responsible for evacuation in emergencies.
- Maintain the duty manager logbook and report all accidents and incidents.
- Fully adhere to licensing law, trading standards, customs & excise regulations, food hygiene, and health & fire safety.
Qualifications
- Professional and well presented.
- Good conversational English and an excellent customer service focus.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Self‑motivated with a high level of enthusiasm.
- Able to respond well to pressure and handle people in emergency or conflict situations.
- Fixed place of residence reasonably close to the pub and proof of right to work in the UK.
