Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas: customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside spaces.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks following standard operating procedures.
  • Follow correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when more are needed.
  • Report all maintenance and pest‑management issues to the manager on duty.
  • Interact politely with customers – greeting them, saying 'thank you' and 'goodbye'.
  • Complete required induction, role‑specific and ongoing refresher training and contribute to continuous improvement.

Progression and Development

  • Structured on‑the‑job training.

  • Cross‑training into other areas (bar, kitchen, hotel).

Other Information

Typical shift times: 6:30 am – 10:00 am, Monday to Sunday.
