What You'll Be Doing in This Role:

  • Demonstrable experience working on data science related projects as part of a team.
  • Experience delivering value to stakeholders.

Qualifications of this Role:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Required technical skills:

  • Degree in relevant subject.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Experience using machine learning techniques.
  • Experience using statistical techniques.

Desirable technical skills:

  • Post graduate degree.
  • Experience working with Large Language Models.
  • Experience with natural language processing/text analysis.
  • Experience with actuarial loss reserving techniques.

Desirable competencies:

  • Independent, responsible, accountable.
  • Project management skills - understands company strategies/priorities and plans workload/technical solutions accordingly.
  • You’re empathetic, enthusiastic, collaborative and willing to share expertise.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distil, explain and present complex information to others.
