Due to ever increasing work volumes we are now recruiting for the position of a Roadside Breakdown and Recovery technician.
The successful applicant will attend various vehicle breakdown scenarios in one of our specialized service vans with the aim to diagnose and repair the casualty vehicle at the roadside. Where this is not possible you will then seek to assist the customer in the next best solution for them, usually towing the casualty vehicle with our specialist towing equipment to their home address, local garage, place of safety or liaising with our Operations center to arrange for one of our recovery trucks to attend and assist with the vehicle recovery.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a company who pride ourselves on providing a quality service to all of the major breakdown organizations, their customers, the general public and even local authorities such as the Police and Highways England.
Due to the nature of the work undertaken, the successful applicant will need to pass the relevant vetting procedures.
Shift Pattern
4 on 4 off or 5 on 3 off patterns
10 hour or 12 hour shifts
Due to the nature of the industry, you will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and be On Call for the duration of your 4 β 5 day shift pattern.
Requirements
FULL UK driving license
Level 1-3 light vehicle repair and maintenance preferred. We may consider someone with previous experience and a good knowledge of the motor vehicle repair industry.
