Quantity Surveyor – Severn Trent Projects
Location: Worcestershire (site-based with some travel)
Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum + benefits (Depending on Experience)

About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client J Coffey Construction, we’re seeking an experienced on-site and hands‑on Quantity Surveyor to join their growing water infrastructure team. This role focuses on delivering key Severn Trent projects across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire, depending on project requirements, contributing to essential water network upgrades and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full commercial and contractual support on Severn Trent projects.
- Manage cost control, valuations, forecasting, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and client standards.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the client team to drive successful outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water/utilities, or civil engineering background.
- Knowledge or understanding of formworks or reinforced concreting.
- Experience working as part of a tier 2 subcontractor.
- Familiarity with AMP7 or AMP8 frameworks (or similar regulated water programmes). (Desirable)
- Strong NEC contract knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience.
