We are recruiting a Class 2 HGV driver to work from our Rochford base. JCS provides a range of services to our clients, including haulage, groundworks, fencing, general site maintenance, street furniture installation, and installation of digital advertising.
In this role, you will be working as part of our internal team delivering goods and street furniture to our operated sites or collecting and delivering clients' items to the required locations in a timely, professional manner while driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.
The ideal candidate will need to have an up-to-date CPC and digital tacho card. Experience in using a Hiab is preferred, although training will be provided if you do not have a current ALLMI or equivalent card. The role includes unloading on the roadside next to active highways within our working sites, so experience and knowledge in this area would be an advantage.
This role will sometimes require travelling to sites nationwide, and occasionally overnight stays. Hotels and stay-away allowance will be provided in this situation.
- Experience working within an HGV loading and unloading environment is essential.
- Class 2 driving licence.
- Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed.
- Valid Digital Tachograph card.
You will be required to work within the framework of JCS H&S Policy and accompanying legislation and codes of practice.
