The predicted salary is between 11 - 15 £ per hour.
We are currently looking for Full Time and Part Time Support Workers to work in our Supported Living/Outreach Service operating in Southend and surrounding areas, supporting clients with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Complex Care needs in supported living homes, or their own homes.
Candidates must be available to work various shifts throughout the week (Mon‑Sun). The shifts available are day shifts working anywhere from 7am‑10pm and night shifts from 10pm‑7am. The hours will be anything from a few hours work up to 15hr shifts, with the generic shift length being 7.5hrs. Sleep shifts and waking night shifts may be required in some instances.

Experience Required
It is required that applicants need to have 6+ months experience working in supported living services or similar settings, having supported adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs, as some packages of care will be medium‑high end which will require experienced staff.
Availability
This job is available as and when we have the packages of care available. We have a new home opening now so we are recruiting for this specific home.
Requirements
- Have experience with complex learning disability clients within a supported living environment (6 months and above required)
- Live locally to Southend On Sea, Essex, UK. We will not be accepting applications from candidates who live outside of the local area.
- A drivers licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred as some clients will require you to drive them around (must be insured for business use)
- Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
- Able to provide references covering 3 years
- Provide an in‑date enhanced DBS
- Plan and deliver client care to a high standard
- Manage your workload and liaise with other healthcare professionals
