We are looking for experienced full‑time and part‑time Children Support Workers/PA's to work in our Supported Living Outreach Service in Southend and surrounding areas. The role involves supporting children and young adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and Complex Care needs in their own homes or educational settings.

Shift Details

Shifts are on a variety of days from Monday to Sunday, typically ranging from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Hours may be part‑time or full‑time. Sleep shifts and waking night shifts may be required on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver client care to a high standard.
  • Manage your workload and liaise with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide support in day‑to‑day routines and behaviour management for children with complex needs.

Requirements

  • 12+ months experience working with children with learning disabilities, complex needs and undesirable behaviours.
  • Live locally in Southend On Sea, Essex, UK.
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (business‑use insured).
  • Level 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care for Children.
  • References covering at least 3 years.
  • Current enhanced DBS for children and adults.
  • Right to work in the UK; overseas sponsorship not offered.

Pay

£13.35 per hour.
