The predicted salary is between 13.35 - 13.35 £ per hour.

We are currently looking for experienced Full Time and Part Time Children Support Workers/PA's to work in our Supported Living Outreach Service operating in Southend and surrounding areas, supporting children/young adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and Complex Care needs in their own homes, or an educational environment.

Candidates must be available to work various shifts throughout the week (Mon-Sun).

The shifts available are day shifts working anywhere from 7am-10pm.

The hours will be anything from a few hours work up to full time shifts.

Sleep shifts and waking night shifts may be required in some instances.

This vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for applicants who are looking for a new challenge working in a person-centred, positive behaviour organisation.

It is required that applicants need to have 12+ months experience working with children with disabilities, complex needs and undesirable behaviours, as some packages of care will be medium-high end which will require experienced staff.

This job is available as and when we have the referrals for packages of care available, however the demand is increasing.

Requirements

  • 12 months+ experience working with children with learning disabilities, complex needs and undesirable behaviours
  • Live locally to Southend On Sea, Essex, UK. We will not be accepting applications from candidates who live outside of the local areas.
  • A driver's licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred as some clients will require you to drive them around (must be insured for business use)
  • Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care in Children
  • Able to provide references covering 3 years
  • Provide an in-date enhanced DBS covering children and adults
  • Plan and deliver client care to a high standard
  • Manage your workload and liaise with other healthcare professionals
