JCB is growing. With our Hydrogen and E-Tech electric machines, we are meeting the need for greater sustainability and energy efficiency in a changing market.
As our business expands, we are looking for commercially minded, talented individuals to join our Global Purchasing team. At JCB, our Purchasing teams work closely with the business to understand stakeholders needs and drive financial value for our business through competitive buying.
Purchasing Manager and Senior Buyer roles that we are looking to pipeline for will lead or focus on activities including:
• Developing & implementing global category strategies to support our manufacturing operations in UK, India, USA, China & Brazil.
• Engaging & negotiating with suppliers globally to optimise value – maximising supplier competitiveness and performance.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders, particularly Product Development Engineers, to identify, evaluate & adopt innovative technologies.
We want to hear from experienced or aspiring Purchasing Manager or Senior Buyers who can bring the following skills to us: –
• A mixture of interpersonal & analytical skills that allow you successfully to negotiate & influence internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ability to truly multitask and switch between operational and strategic delivery.
• Results driven and take ownership of projects you are working to achieve success.
• Consider different perspectives to comprehensively define business requirements and develop creative strategies to achieve these.
• A can-do attitude and are resilient & adaptable that is essential in a fast-moving environment.
