As a PI Controller at JCB Transmissions, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, real‑time inventory records and ensuring stock integrity across the operation. You’ll play a vital role in supporting production and supply continuity by managing cycle counts, reconciling system data with physical stock, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and control.
What does this role involve day to day?
- Managing perpetual inventory activities within the Transmissions area.
- Recording stock movements accurately and maintaining real‑time inventory data within SAP.
- Planning and executing cycle counts and reconciling physical stock against system records.
- Investigating inventory discrepancies and leading robust root‑cause analysis.
- Implementing corrective and preventative actions to improve stock accuracy.
- Producing and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly inventory dashboards and reports.
- Monitoring inventory trends and highlighting risks or issues to key stakeholders.
- Working cross‑functionally with warehouse, production, planning and finance teams to resolve stock issues.
- Maintaining high standards of data integrity and process compliance.
