JCB Powertrain supplies JCB Engines, Axles and Transmissions to a range of OEM Distributors and Direct Customers. Over the past five years, the business has experienced rapid growth and now requires a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will grow the Sales according to the 5-year business plan. JCB Power Systems requires a New OEM Engine Sales Manager to support and further develop the business’ existing distributors and direct OEMs.
What does this roleinvolve day to day?
- Account management and growth of new and existing OEM’s and Distributors using Salesforce.
- Provide annual Distributor targets and objectives to support business growth and continually drive Distributor development.
- Provide bespoke pricing.
- Be the voice of the customer and translate market requirements to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Support and coordinate incoming communications to the correct internal stakeholders.
- Provide weekly overview reports of activity and business highlights.
- Support, plan and develop JCB training Distance Learning Modules, classroom sessions and planning schedules for JCB OEM Powertrain components.
- Support with Technical Marketing content and annual marketing plans.
- Development of product sales presentations.
- Empower Distributors to be technically and commercially independent.
- Produce annual sales plans for the region.
- Seek out new Distributors for the region(s).

- You have experience in Dealer/Distributor development, Engineering, OEM management or commercial management
- You\’re able to attend regular OEM and distributor update meetings.
- You can provide end customer training & education.
- You understand emissions legislation consultation.
- You know how to do market growth analysis.
- You can do business administration.
- You can partake in shows & event support.
- You have knowledge of Off-Highway Market
- You have related market sales experience.
- You have knowledge of the JCB Group & businesses.
- You possess a Marketing, Business or Engineering Diploma or Degree
- You\’re willing to undertake new training
- You\’re prepared to travel internationally up to 30%
