About the Role:

We\’re seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Electrical Engineering team at JCB. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to contribute to the development of advanced electrical systems across our vehicle platforms.

In this role, you\’ll be involved in the design, development, and integration of electrical systems, with clear progression pathways into specialist roles such as:

  • Vehicle Electrical Circuit Engineer
  • Electrical Verification & Validation Engineer
  • HMI Vehicle System Integration Engineer

This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the performance, reliability, and innovation of world-class machinery as well as the opportunity to build a career within a globally recognised engineering business, contributing to the development of innovative and high-performance machinery.

What does this role involve day to day?

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for off-highway vehicles
  • Supporting system integration and ensuring compatibility across vehicle platforms
  • Conducting testing and validation to meet performance and safety standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineering
  • Applying structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies

This will be suited to you if…

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • You\’re a strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You demonstrate effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • You have a keen interest in vehicle technology and electrical systems
  • You have the ability to work independently and contribute to team objectives
