We’re looking for a Project Manager to join the Programme team. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you’ll join a dynamic team with a strong focus on new product development to support the growth of the business and market share. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of a number of ambitious and exciting machine programmes, providing new models and major upgrades in support of our growth plans. This is a fast‑paced role requiring strong programme leadership, cross‑functional coordination and delivery oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.

What does this role involve day to day?

  • Leading and facilitating cross‑functional project teams to achieve agreed project plans and deliverables
  • Ensuring project teams meet their objectives and deliver on time
  • Maintaining and tracking project plans, schedules and key project metrics (including engineering timing plans, master schedules, PCM’s and parts trackers)
  • Ensuring new products are introduced in accordance with JCB’s New Product Introduction Process (NPIP)
  • Providing clear communication on project status to all areas of the business
  • Identifying, managing and mitigating risks to support successful programme delivery
  • Working closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering and Finance teams to maintain project cost tracking and financial documentation
  • Monitoring and reporting financial performance, including BOMs and pricing
  • Preparing and supporting project gateway documentation and reviews

  • You’re self‑motivated, flexible and results‑driven with a strong sense of urgency
  • You have experience within a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment
  • You’re confident communicating and influencing at all levels across the business
  • You have the ability to motivate teams and deliver demanding objectives
  • You have strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
  • You’re highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, with advanced Excel skills
  • You have a good understanding of project planning, governance and risk management
