Contract: Full-time apprenticeship (earn while you learn)

About the Role: LiveLink is JCB’s advanced telematics and machine intelligence platform, supporting customers globally with data‑led insights to improve productivity, uptime, and asset management. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop business analysis skills in a live digital and operational environment, supporting global aftersales, parts logistics, and data‑driven decision‑making. The apprentice will work closely with stakeholders across IT, Aftersales, Parts Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams. Alongside day‑to‑day responsibilities, the apprentice will complete a nationally recognised Level 4 Business Analyst qualification, gaining practical experience while building professional capability.

What You’ll Be Doing: As part of the LiveLink Telematics team, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including:

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for LiveLink systems and processes
  • Produce process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Support data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and KPI development
  • Work with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear requirements
  • Assist with workshops, meetings, and stakeholder reviews
  • Support project delivery activities, including testing and UAT
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to change management activities such as communications and user guidance

You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship with structured training, mentoring, and on‑the‑job learning.

What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone who is motivated to learn and develop within a technical and fast‑paced digital environment. You don’t need professional analytic experience—just a genuine interest in technology and the willingness to learn.

Essential Skills and Qualities:

  • Strong interest in business analysis, data, digital systems, or process improvement
  • Ability to analyse information and solve problems logically
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs at grade 4 or above in Maths and English are essential
  • A-levels, T-levels, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications

Training and Development:

  • Completion of a Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship alongside your role
  • Hands‑on experience within a global, data‑driven organisation
  • Exposure to industry‑leading telematics technology (LiveLink)
  • Structured off‑the‑job training with an approved apprenticeship training provider
