We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Driver to join our team, supporting the daily flow of materials, managing muck away, and lending a hand on site when needed. In this role, you’ll be transporting materials safely and efficiently, ensuring waste is handled correctly, and working closely with site teams to maintain a productive, safe environment. You’ll also take part in a one‑in‑four call‑out rota, helping us respond quickly to urgent operational needs when required.

About CBUL

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. We focus on keeping sewer networks operating efficiently through planned maintenance, emergency response and rehabilitation works. Our capability is underpinned by a substantial fleet of specialist vehicles including vacuum tankers, jetting units and CCTV survey equipment, supported by advanced technology for rapid diagnostics and effective solutions. With a reputation for safety, reliability and technical expertise, Cappagh Browne plays a critical role in protecting communities and maintaining essential infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone practical, dependable, and confident working in a fast‑paced construction environment. You’ll bring a mix of hands‑on experience, safety awareness, and teamwork to the role.

    • Experience as a driver, general operative, or similar construction‑based role
    • Familiarity with construction site operations and material handling
    • Good knowledge of civils work
    • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices

    • Ability to safely load, secure and unload materials
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Good time management and organisation to meet delivery schedules
  • Essential Qualifications
    • Full, valid UK driving licence
    • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
