We are looking for a proactive and safety-driven Site Supervisor to join our team and take ownership of day-to-day construction activities across multiple mains renewal sites. In this role, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme deadlines, while maintaining strong quality standards and effective team coordination.
You’ll play a central part in planning works, guiding teams and subcontractors, maintaining compliance on site, and ensuring all operational, health & safety, environmental and quality expectations are consistently met. You’ll be the person who keeps operations moving—planning ahead, solving problems, driving high standards and ensuring the work is delivered right first time.
If you’re committed, organised and confident in leading people in a site environment, this is your opportunity to step into a key role with real impact. This role will be predominantly based in our Lea Bridge site (E5 9RJ, opposite Lee Valley Ice Centre), but on occasion you may need to travel to our sites in Oxfordshire. You will be included in the team’s rota of weekend working and being on call, to occur once every 4 weeks.
At Browne, we are engineering with purpose. We’re a leading UK contractor working in the water and civil engineering sectors, delivering projects that help improve everyday life. From building pipelines and upgrading pumping stations to maintaining reservoirs and drainage systems, we support cleaner water, stronger infrastructure and more reliable services for communities.
We offer a wide range of career opportunities both on site and behind the scenes. Whether your skills are in engineering, project delivery, safety, sustainability, commercial, planning or business support, there’s a place for you at Browne. We value different perspectives and experiences, and we’re proud to be a Silver Award Investors in Diversity accredited employer.
Our teams use smart technology and a hands-on approach to make sure every job is delivered safely and to a high standard. We support our clients through the full life of their assets, from construction and mechanical systems to long-term maintenance. Browne is part of Renew Holdings plc, a UK-based group of specialist engineering companies.
We’re seeking someone who brings a positive, reliable approach and can confidently manage teams, resources and processes on active construction sites. You’ll need strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and experience within utilities or similar sectors.
