At Browne, we are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team and support managers and colleagues through complex workplace matters. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic environment where fairness, consistency, and strong people practices are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance across a wide range of employment relations matters, managing complex and high-risk cases from start to finish.
  • Advise on employment law and organisational policy in partnership with managers.
  • Lead investigations and support resolution of disciplinaries, grievances, and dismissals to ensure fair and compliant outcomes.
  • Produce clear and accurate documentation, including case notes and formal correspondence.
  • Contribute to organisational change initiatives such as restructures and redundancy programmes.
  • Identify trends, reduce organisational risk, and coach managers to build confidence and capability in handling people issues effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases end-to-end.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written skills, with experience producing formal documentation and reports.
  • Experience at HR Business Partner or Senior Advisory level.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
