We are seeking a 309A Electrician in the London area who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction, reporting to the Utilities Superintendent. As a 309A Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with OESC. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of electrical systems within our projects.
The 309A Electrician will have an all-in learning attitude. They ensure that duties are being completed in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. They contribute to the success of projects through careful organization and planning. Overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines.
How you will make an IMPACT
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
- Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and tools.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior electricians.
- Promote a positive team environment.
- Complete administrative duties onsite including daily logs and photos, health and safety reports, quality reports, compliance reports, incident reports, and any other documentation as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
How you WOW us
- Industrial electrical experience or traffic signal experience is preferred.
- Flexible regarding hours worked and travel time.

- Valid G Class Driver’s License with clean abstract, reliable transportation.
- Proven experience as a certified electrician, preferably in diverse settings.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
