We are seeking a
Wheel Loader Operator who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction.
J-AAR Materials is part of J-AAR Ltd., responsible for the supply of Aggregates, Landscape Products, Crushing, Trucking & Recycling.
Environment
A Wheel Loader Operator is required to facilitate operations within our various locations.
Operating may occur in all types of weather conditions and there is a varying degree of physical labour required.
Work hours variable based on demand.
- How you will make an IMPACT
- Operate Wheel Loader effectively and efficiently
- Load trucks, manage stockpiles, and grade haulage routes
- Screening plant operation
- Maintain equipment – grease, fluids, standard upkeep
- Report damaged or faulty equipment to management
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Feeder and elevating conveyor operation and maintenance
- Keep processing area clean and in order
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
- Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation as required

- Aggregate specification and quality standard knowledge required
- Valid G Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
