We are seeking an
AZ Truck Driver who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction.
J-AAR is part of J-AAR Ltd. responsible for the Supply of Aggregates, Landscape Products, Crushing, Trucking & Recycling.
Environment
An AZ Truck Driver is required to report to the head office daily and prepare to work in one of J-AAR's sand/gravel yards or any job site required by dispatch.
Driving may occur in all types of weather conditions.
A varied degree of physical labour will be required.
Wage
- Based on Teamsters Contract
- How you will make an IMPACT
- Deliver material to/from various job locations
- Ensure material is secure for safe transportation
- Perform daily truck inspections
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, violations or damage to supervisor
- Maintain trucking log
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, following signals from ground crew
- Perform other haulage duties when required
- Complete all required documentation
- Maintain positive company image in appearance, conduct, and communication
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
- Other duties as assigned
- How you WOW us
- Valid AZ License with clean abstract
- Previous experience as an AZ Truck Driver is an asset
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to keep accurate records
