Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position involves a combination of warehouse duties and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that products are efficiently loaded, transported, and delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various warehouse equipment.
Duties
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling and organization.
- Drive box trucks or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient movement of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including proper storage of materials.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Valid driver\βs license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is advantageous.
- Experience with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities is desirable.
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is a plus but not required.
