Role: Sales Manager / Decorative Panel Products Manager
Location: West Bromwich area β internal and external sales mix covering the Midlands area
Sector: Timber Supplies / Builders Merchants / Construction Supplies
Package: Β£35,000 – Β£42,000 + Bonus + Car (Mon – Fri only)
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage both internal and external sales within the Midlands for decorative panel products and related building materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with fabricators, contractors, architects, designers and end users; communicate clearly to ensure correct products are ordered and upsell where possible.
- Prepare, generate and follow up quotations; convert quotes into orders; maintain high levels of customer service.
- Proactively develop the current ledger and seek new business opportunities; balance account management with new business generation.
- Work partly from the office and partly external; travel as required within the Midlands.
- Utilize product knowledge of sheet materials and decorative panel products to advise customers and support project requirements.
- Be a proactive, hungry sales professional who goes above and beyond; not an order processor.
- Progress within the company based on performance and talent.
Qualifications / Experience
- Sales background from builders merchants or timber/building supplies sectors.
- Knowledge of sheet materials and decorative panel products preferred.
- Experience dealing with fabricators, contractors, architects, designers and end users; strong communication and attention to detail.
- Good product knowledge and the ability to think on your feet; comfortable interacting by phone, email and face-to-face.
