Izgara Finchley, a renowned Turkish & Mediterranean restaurant established in 1999, is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support our management team. We pride ourselves on delivering authentic flavours and a welcoming atmosphere, and we're looking for a leader who shares our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be instrumental in the daily operations and success of our restaurant. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and motivating staff: Overseeing daily shifts, providing guidance, and fostering a positive team environment for our front-of-house team.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service: Maintaining high standards of service delivery, handling guest inquiries, and resolving any issues to ensure a memorable dining experience.
  • Operational management: Assisting with opening and closing procedures, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and optimizing table turnover.
  • Inventory and stock control: Supporting the Restaurant Manager with stock rotation, ordering, and minimizing waste.
  • Upholding standards: Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Training and development: Assisting in the training of new staff members and ongoing development of the existing team.
  • Cash handling: Managing till operations and end-of-day reconciliation.
